Park House is a residential care home in situated in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. We provide short-term, respite care and longer term care and support for up to 26 residents at the home.
The bedrooms at the home are situated around the home and benefit from en-suite facilities. There is also a communal lounge, a dining room, a newly decorated hair salon and adapted bathrooms. The home also has a beautiful conservatory and a patio garden overlooking the local park and a quieter area with raised flower beds.
Our residents enjoy freshly cooked, healthy meals cooked by our in-house chefs at the home. Most residents choose to eat in the dining room, while others eat in the comfort of their own bedrooms if they choose.
Park House has regular and fun-filled activities schedule provided by our Activity Co-Ordinators. These activities are planned and tailored to our residents likes and interests with group and individual events taking place daily.
We are also a big part of our local community and we support our residents to continue to visit the local shops and cafes.
The home was rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission in their most recent inspection, with an ‘Outstanding’ line in the Caring element of the report.
Great Yarmouth and the local area
The home is situated next door to a doctor's surgery and directly opposite the historic St. Georges Park in Great Yarmouth, with the wide sandy beaches a short walk from the home.
Great Yarmouth is also well known for its communal parks and is serviced by good road, rail, and bus links. The town centre is only a short distance and the large Market Gates shopping precinct is close by too.
We welcome visiting families and residents to explore the town's shopping centre and seafront. The home has a large private car park for our residents' loved ones' use.
