Kings Lynn Care Home

Kings Lynn residential care home sits on Kettlewell Lane close to the centre of King’s Lynn in West Norfolk. The home provides short-term, respite care and longer term care and support for up to 41 residents, including people living with dementia.

The home is a single storey building with all bedrooms on the ground floor. This is a huge asset to our residents as they are able to move freely throughout the home and its beautiful, enclosed garden, regardless of any mobility issues. We ensure a safe environment with high levels of training to ensure all residents are cared for to the highest standard.

As well as the residents’ rooms, there are large, separate communal lounges, a dining room and adapted bathrooms. In the dining room, there is a drinks fridge and sweet stand so that residents can snack throughout the day at their leisure. There is also a salon where our residents can have their hair and nails done on a regular basis. Outside there is a private enclosed garden enjoyed by residents, their families and friends and the local community.

When residents first join us, it is normal for them to feel uncertain of their new surroundings. We always take time to understand each resident to ensure they are treated with compassion and respect.

The home has been rated as ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commission in their latest inspection.

The home is close to the town centre of King's Lynn, allowing our residents to access a number of local amenities including shops; cafes and restaurants, cinemas, theatres and a number of local beauty spots.

We often take day trips with the residents, exploring the local area and supporting people to continue to enjoy being part of the local community.
