Belamacanda Care Home, Clacton

Belamacanda is one of our very special homes supporting adults with physical or learning disabilities. The home is in Little Clacton in Essex on the outskirts of the seaside resort of Clacton-on-sea. Residents are supported in a safe, supported environment with a care package structured to their unique and specific needs.

In total, there are 22 bedrooms at the home, with fully assistive bathrooms and large communal areas where our well-trained staff provide dedicated care. There is level access to all areas of the home including the large gardens with a patio area - perfect for outdoor events and activities. Belamacanda has a sensory room with light, texture, and sound activities, supporting mental health and helping residents learn new skills in a therapeutic space.

We are proud to provide excursions and trips for residents, visiting local groups, events and supporting them on holidays and short breaks. The village location of Little Clacton allows residents to have a great deal of independence.

Clacton itself is only a short distance away, with direct public transport links into the town from a bus stop just outside the main entrance of the home. Clacton has all the amenities and attractions of a large town including theatres, parks, libraries, cinemas and a seaside promenade with a host of beach resort attractions. There are also excellent road and rail links to other areas in the region.

The home is rated good overall by the Care Quality Commission. We can accept referrals from local authorities including out of county placements and directly for self-funded residents. Please contact us to arrange a viewing.
