Mid-Meadows is a residential care home for adults with physical and/or learning disabilities, situated in the charming town of Frinton-on-Sea.
Mid-Meadows has comfortable bedrooms on the ground and first floor, which has lift access and a separate kitchen dining area for residents’ use. We also have a communal galley-style kitchen diner and lounge facilities, so our residents can enjoy independent dining, and a large conservatory for our residents to soak up the sun.
Outside, the home has a well-maintained courtyard garden with wooden gazebos and a seating area which is often transformed through the summer months for birthday celebrations and barbeques. The fully-accessible garden also has wheelchair-friendly and raised level bespoke planters.
Our staff are Mid-Meadows are incredibly dedicated to providing high-class person-centred respite services which promotes dignity, privacy and choice for our residents. We believe in providing them with unique experiences and supporting them to achieve their goals.
Mid-Meadows has been rated ‘Good Overall’ by the Care Quality Commission in its latest inspection, with an Outstanding score in the Care element of the inspection.
Frinton-on-Sea and the surrounding area
Frinton-on-Sea is a picturesque location on the Essex coast known for its tree-lined avenues sweeping down to the esplanade and clifftop greensward. The town has a number of facilities including a shopping precinct with a post office, off license, newsagents, public house, bakery and a number of general stores – all within a short distance from Mid-Meadows.
The town also has a doctor’s surgery and a church that are residents are able to visit. Directly outside the front entrance of the home is a bus stop, allowing our residents the independence to visit local landmarks. Frinton also has a public library, local parks, cafes and restaurants as well as the delightful seafront promenade.
