A fantastic opening event was thoroughly enjoyed by all at Southwell Court on Saturday 27th April. The home was officially opened by Chairman of South Cambridgeshire District Council, Councillor Douglas De Lacey, who was joined by local councillor for Melbourn, Jose Hales.

More than 100 people joined the well attended event and enjoyed Royston Brass Band performing, whilst getting the opportunity to view the fantastic facilities at Southwell Court.

Tom Lyons, Managing Director, said ‘It was fantastic that so many people could join us to look around our wonderful care home, which we know will be a fantastic addition to the local community. People should expect to be cared for in a compassionate and dignified way, which is why we aim to provide outstanding care at all our homes. We hope Southwell Court will be considered a home away from home.’
