Bungay Manor Care Home

Bungay Manor Care Home is our newest acquisition. The home is undergoing an extensive renovation and refurbishment. We hope to welcome new residents to the home in autumn 2026.

The home will be fully renovated and re-registered as a 42-bedroom care home, with enlarged bedrooms featuring ensuite wetrooms, designed to support people requiring short-term care and longer term support, including people living with dementia.

The existing building and infrastructure requires substantial refurbishment. This will include enlarging most of the bedrooms at the home to include ensuite WCs and wetrooms, making them fit for purpose in the 21^st Century. Work on these changes will starting imminently, with the aim of reopening the home in the autumn of 2026, subject to formal registration by the Care Quality Commission.

Key features of the new home:

• 42 modern bedrooms, fitted with ensuite WCs and showers to provide accessible, safe and comfortable facilities
• Dedicated areas for residential and dementia care, enabling person-centred support and environments for residents
• Recruitment of over 50 staff and managers across caring, catering, domestic, maintenance and management roles
• Extensive renovations to upgrade the building, including plumbing, electrical, interior finishes, safety systems and communal facilities
• Careful design planning to ensure the facility is future-proof, dementia-friendly and aligned with best practices in care standards
