Thermal Scanners to be installed in all Black Swan Care Group Homes

With the lockdown measures easing, and a new kind of visiting available for our residents, we have decided to install thermal scanners within our homes to ensure the safety of our staff and residents. 

Every staff member or visitor (district nurses/doctors) entering the home through the main entrance will be temperature tested using the latest technology. As you stand in front of the screen it scans the person before it and measures their temperature. 

Any raised temperature above the norm will result in the individual scanned being asked to leave the premises and a deep clean taking place. A high temperature is one of the easiest ways to spot a potential infection, and by measuring this we are ensuring the safety of our staff and residents.
