Park House takes residents on tropical holiday without ever having to leave the home

2020 has been a year unlike any other, and this has impacted our residents ability to do all the things they would normally do – including going on holiday. Our staff decided to make up for the experiences they’ve missed out on, they would bring the holiday to them!

Park House in Great Yarmouth transformed into a tropical paradise complete with all the classic holiday tropes you would expect to see while on a sun-kissed getaway.

Our staff did an amazing job by decorating the home with palm trees, garlands, and all of our residents loved donning their grass skirts and taking part in lots of fun activities.

They had a luau themed party complete with music, hula-hooping and  limbo which our residents really loved. They were even challenging each other to see how low they could go. 

We’re really proud of our staff for providing these unique experiences which our residents thought they wouldn’t get this year, and although it may not be the way they imagined – we think it shows the strong bonds between staff and residents that they’re willing to go the extra mile to ensure our residents are smiling.
