Drum Ball (also known as Cardio drumming) is a form of exercise bringing together yoga balls, and drumsticks to encourage movement and rhythm.
The addition of the musical element means that your not only getting a physical work out, but a mental workout too as you try and keep in time with the group leader who sets the pace of the drumming.
This is a form of exercise easily accessible to people with mobility issues, with the option of doing the routine standing or sitting down depending on the individuals preference.
Our residents absolutely loved their first session and resident Winnie said:
“The neighbours might be round to complain about the noise later!”
