Kitchen at The Gables retains its 5 star food hygiene rating

The kitchen team at The Gables in Chatteris have retained their a 5 star hygiene rating following a visit from the Food Standards Agency at Fenland District Council.

We're delighted to share that they received a 5 star certificate reflecting the outstanding way that they manage their kitchen. Among other things, the thorough inspection covered kitchen cleanliness, food storage, hygiene, food preparation and much more.

Manager Julie Tyler, thanked her chefs and kitchen team: "Freshly prepared meals are a vital part of the care we provide to our residents. We focus on creating healthy, nutritious dishes that cater to a wide range of dietary needs, and our kitchen team works tirelessly to deliver plenty of choice and variety. It's also just as important that we focus on how we store and prepare the food and keep the environment spotlessly clean.
