At Black Swan Care Group we’re committed to providing an enriching environment for our staff to ensure the best career progression and development, ensuring our staff feel valued and supported to perform their roles to the best of their ability.
Due to this we have made the decision to expand our head office team to ensure the best possible support for all twenty of our care services throughout the East of England.
The sector has seen the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, and we are incredibly proud to say we have made it through the other side, and are delighted to be able to continue our plans for growth and expansion in 2022.
The first step in this change is the introduction of a new Recruitment Officer to the group, who will be lead by Anett Vass who we are delighted to announce – is our new Head of Recruitment for Black Swan Care Group.
Anett will be the group lead on all recruitment based needs listing vacancies across the group; coordinating the interview and onboarding approach between the home managers and our head office team, ensuring relevant experience in necessary roles, and ensuring we continue to provide an environment where each and every one of our staff is committed to the independence, dignity and support of each and every one of our residents.
We asked Anett how it felt to be named Head of Recruitment after just 8 months with the company:
“I feel very appreciated by the company to be offered this exciting opportunity.’
“I feel that we are on track to make recruitment and retention more efficient as a group.’
“With the addition of our new Recruitment Administrator we will be able to expand our recruitment and retention programmes to ensure the highest levels of support for our services. I am very excited!”
Another exciting announcement this month is that our former Group Activities Coordinator Carol Paulsen-Yull has been named Black Swan Care Group’s Activities and Events Manager – taking on responsibility for the planning of large-scale recruitment and community events to ensure integration for our residents, and an increase in visibility within our local community.
This comes just one year after Carol joined the company, and she has been an invaluable asset since day one!
Carol is incredibly passionate about her new role and feels the implementation of these events following the Covid19 pandemic, is of paramount importance. Carol told us what it meant to her to be given this new title within the company.
She said: “I feel very proud of the work I have done over the last 12 months and very grateful to my colleagues who have assisted me. I am extremely grateful to have been given such a wonderful opportunity.’
“I believe I can mentor and harness the activities teams enthusiasm to ultimately benefit the residents of Black Swan Care Group. I am passionate about inclusivity and compliance and will be concentrating on improving procedures and processes within our activities team.’
“I am very excited about the future and cannot wait to get started on planning and delivering events to raise awareness of our fantastic company”.
We are excited to see the positive impact of these changes and feel there are no two better people to lead the team on our exciting new endeavours in both recruitment and events.
Thank you both for your outstanding contribution to the team throughout 2021-2022!
