5 star food safety at York House!

The kitchen team at York House in Dereham have retained their 5 star hygiene rating following a visit from the Food Standards Agency.

We're delighted to share that they received a 5 star certificate reflecting the outstanding way that they manage their kitchen. Among other things, the thorough inspection covered kitchen cleanliness, food storage, hygiene, food preparation and much more.

Manager Mariana Soare, thanked her kitchen team: “Freshly prepared meals are an essential part of the high-quality care we provide to our residents at York House. Our kitchen team takes great pride in creating healthy, nutritious meals, with plenty of choice to meet a wide range of dietary needs.

“Maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, storage and cleanliness is equally important, and the team works incredibly hard to keep these standards as high as possible every day.
