At The Gables Care Home in Chatteris, staff have gone above and beyond to ensure our residents celebrated Burns Night in style.

25th January marks Burns Night; a day to celebrate the life and times of esteemed poet Robert Burns. It is celebrated to mark the anniversary of Robert’s Burns’ birthday, and our residents at The Gables love to celebrate this occasion! 

Chef Heath dressed in full Scottish attire including kilt and socks, and recited some of Burns’ famous poems, as well as the wonderful poem for the Haggis.
