It’s an exciting period of growth for Black Swan International, which operates 15 private care homes across Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
Black Swan International has secured a significant seven-figure sum to help it acquire two care homes as part of continued expansion plans.
Its portfolio of homes includes Laurel Lodge, which provides residential care for up to 26 residents and is situated close to the city centre of Norwich.
Tom Lyons, managing director of Black Swan International, says: “Black Swan specialises in turning around poorly performing care homes, and it is our plan to continue to grow by taking advantage of our ability to do this well. We have been really pleased with the professional manner in which NatWest conducts its business, and our relationship director, Paul Barford, has been very approachable and supportive.”
“The NatWest Healthcare team have a real understanding of the sector and their local knowledge has proved invaluable to us”
Paul Barford, relationship director for NatWest Healthcare, says: “I am delighted to introduce Andrew Harrison to the team at Black Swan. We are proud to support this successful regional care group through this exciting period of growth. While pressures continue to build in the industry, Black Swan is one of a number of established care operators that is leading the way in providing quality care homes to the area and creating jobs locally. It has been fantastic to see this wonderful environment in action and, most importantly, meet its residents.”
“The NatWest Healthcare team have a real understanding of the sector and their local knowledge has proved invaluable to us,” continued Tom. “Their knowledge of our business and the funding they have provided has enabled our business to grow significantly over the last three years with the purchase of three new care homes, extensions to four homes and funding already approved for future purchases.”
