Belamacanda is a Care Home for the Physically Disabled and is situated in Little Clacton, a pleasant village on the outskirts of the popular seaside resort of Clacton on Sea.

Village facilities include a general store, off licence, post office, newsagents, public houses, take-aways and Doctors surgery. Methodist and Church of England services are held within close proximity to the Home. Public transport stops directly outside the front entrance on the main road to Clacton-on-Sea or Colchester. Clacton has all the amenities of a large town, public library, local parks, theatre, cinema, as well as a delightful sea front promenade. It is served by excellent road and rail links.

• Belamacanda is a Care Home for the Physically Disabled.
• The Home is Registered for 22 Residents.
• Is able to accept persons on a permanent, temporary, respite, short stay or rehabilitation basis.
• Is able to accept persons from age 18.
• Has one Respite bed contracted to Essex Social Services. Please contact the Home for further information.
• The Home has experience with Multiple Sclerosis, Huntingdons Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Head Injuries, Epilepsy, Strokes, Spinal Injury and others.
• The Manager of the home is Mr Mike Melton who has been at the Home since 1991.
• Specialist Equipment and Facilities including a Mini Bus with tail lift are available.
• Computer with Broadband Internet access supplied for the Residents.
• The Home is Registered with the Care Quality Commission.
